“Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic 2” is coming to Nintendo Switch next month

Classic RPG Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords is set to be released on Nintendo Switch next month.

Based on an announcement trailer released earlier this week (May 27, 2007), Knights Of The Old Republic 2 will arrive on Nintendo’s Nintendo game console in June.

This game was developed as a stand-alone follow-up to Knights Of The Old Republic in 2003. It features the Sith nearing destruction of the Jedi about 4,000 years prior to that of the film The Phantom Menace.

The sequel will be playing alongside the original Knights Of The Old Republic game on the Nintendo Switch, which was released in November. The second game lets the player play as a single Jedi who joins the team in order to protect the universe with choices in the game that aren’t as clear as “good or evil.”

There are three classes of Jedi to pick from. Each is unique in its force power that is unlockable.

This port was made in collaboration with the Aspyr, the studio that is also responsible for the development of the Knights Of The Old Republic Remake. It is currently being a timed PS5 exclusive The remake is being revamped “from the ground up with the latest tech to match the groundbreaking standard of innovation established by the original, all while staying true to its revered story.”

There isn’t much information available about the remake since no footage has been released however, in May, it was revealed the news that Saber Interactive would be joining Aspyr on the development of the game, and has been re-created using “scratch.”
